*Head cooks’ salaries are calculated by taking the hourly salary above for the number of years they were a cook and adding to that the appropriate hourly rate for the number of years they have been a head cook.
Health & Welfare: Employees in positions scheduled four (4) hours per day:
Employee only $497.00/Month
Employee + 1 $501.00/Month
Family $653.00/Month
Pension: 9.2% of gross for those individuals who are in a position scheduled 600 or more hours annually.

Vacation: For individuals in positions scheduled 8 hours per day:
Years 1 - 14 10 Days
Years 15 - 20 15 Days
After 20 years 20 Days
These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for food service workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code. Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
