FOOD SERVICE

Jurisdiction:                   CHRISTIAN COUNTY

 

Wages:                         Supervisor:                               $11.50/Hour

                                    Head Cook:                             $11.14/Hour

                                    Cook/Cafeteria Worker:           $10.69/Hour

 

Health & Welfare:         $315.00/Month for employees in positions scheduled 40 hours/week.

 

Pension:                        6.71% of gross for individuals in a position scheduled 600 hours annually.

 

Vacation:                      All employees receive hourly equivalent days based on regularly scheduled hours.

 

                                    2 weeks after one (1) year of full time service

                                    3 weeks after nine (9) years of full time service

                                    4 weeks after seventeen (17) years of full time service

            5 weeks after twenty-five (25) years of full time service

 

 

These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for food service workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code.  Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
