                                    2nd year            $10.05/hour     9th year             $12.55/hour

                                    3rd year            $10.25/hour     10th year            $12.95/hour

                                    4th year             $10.60/hour     11th year            $13.40/hour

                                    5th year             $10.95/hour     12th year            $13.85/hour

                                    6th year             $11.35/hour     13th year            $14.30/hour

                                    7th year             $11.75/hour

                                   

HEAD JANITOR receives $0.99 above the rate listed above for their appropriate year of service.

 

Health & Welfare:            $375.00 per month for individuals in positions scheduled 37.5 hours per week.

                                   

Pension:                        10.05% for all individuals in positions scheduled 3.5 hours or more per day.

 

Vacation:                      For individuals in 12-month positions paid at hourly equivalent days:

 

                                    After 1 year                              1 week

                                    After 2 years                            2 weeks

                                    After 7 years                            3 weeks

                                    After 15 years                                   4 weeks

These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code.  Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
