Wages:                         JANITOR:                  1^st year             $12.76/hour

                                                                        2^nd year            $13.53hour

                                                                        3^rd year            $14.51/hour

                                                                        4^th year             $15.32/hour

                                                                       

 

Health & Welfare:            $275.00 per month for individuals in positions scheduled 25 hours or more per week.

 

Pension:                        9.73% of gross for individuals in positions scheduled 600 hours or more annually.

 

Vacation:                      For individuals in positions scheduled 40 hours per week.

 

                                    1-2 years:                 5 days

                                    3-5 years:               10 days

                                    6-9 years:               12 days

                                    10-12 years:               15 days

                                    13-16 years:               17 days

                                    17 + years:               20 days

 

 

 

These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code.  Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
